STATEMENT OF LABORATORY ETHICS

New Bloom Labs’ first commitment is to sound, ethical laboratory practices that yield defensible data for all material analyzed within its facilities. These practices have long been the foundation of proper laboratory methodology for unbiased analysis of unknowns, and serve as a baseline for every operational policy and procedure within the company. They are:

  • Blind Sample Intake - We will never ask a customer to identify target concentrations or composition of any compound prior to completion of analysis.

  • Unbiased Traceability - New Bloom Labs will convert sample identification into an indistinguishable number and barcode immediately upon intake, ensuring unbiased handling from technical personnel at every stage of analysis.

  • Daily Quality Control and Calibration - Our technicians ensure data integrity with daily calibration of all instruments in our laboratories. Additionally, known control samples of all matrix types are subjected to confirmatory analysis before customer samples are submitted for testing.

  • Robust Proficiency Testing - Our laboratories participate in multiple blind proficiency testing programs that exceed requirements set forth by the ISO 17025 standard.

  • Data Transparency - Upon request, New Bloom Labs will provide to its customers any and all background and accompanying raw data generated during testing of their samples.

  • Advocacy for Technical Rigor - Out of concern for public safety and to advance the legitimacy of cannabis markets everywhere, New Bloom Labs publicly advocates for regulatory policies that demand strict technical rigor and accountability for laboratories engaged in the analysis of cannabis and cannabis-derived products.

We submit to these practices as a matter of corporate responsibility and in an effort to support the safe availability of cannabis products in all communities.
