FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

We’re fielding a lot of calls with questions on how to navigate New Mexico’s testing rules for hemp-derived cannabinoid products. There are a lot of state-specific requirements to navigate in order to get products to market in New Mexico. We can help.

  • Yes! New Bloom Labs full panel reports are 100% New Mexico compliant. This include requirements that are entirely unique to New Mexico compliance.

  • Hemp-derived cannabinoids sold in New Mexico require full panel safety testing that includes a terpene analysis report.

  • If your business makes products that are distributed in New Mexico, then they must comply with these rules.

  • New Mexico Full Panels include:

    • Cannabinoid potency

    • Pesticides screening

    • Solvents screening

    • Mycotoxins screening

    • Microbials screening

    • Heavy metals screening

  • As a safe basis for your production planning, expect about 1-2 week turnaround for a Full Panel report. This is likely to fluctuate to some degree in the weeks and months to come. Of course, we will do everything we can to deliver your reports faster if possible.

  • Typically, 15 grams or 15mL is adequate to complete the full package of Alabama required tests. However, in some instances its advisable to send larger samples of gummy material and beverages.
